Justin Turner, a 38-year-old professional baseball infielder and designated hitter, has signed a one-year, $13 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays. Turner, who previously played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets, is expected to bolster the Blue Jays' lineup with his consistent performance.
In 2022, Turner ranked first in his team in batting average (.278) and hits (148). He also ranked second in home runs (27), RBIs (87), and OBP (.361), and third in SLG (.487). His return provides the Blue Jays with added stability in both the lineup and the clubhouse.
